A hot sunny day in Queensway! The Bletchley Co-operative Society to the left has its blinds out to protect its wares from the sunshine. A little further on to the left stands Carlow’s television and radio shop on the corner of Albert Street, can anybody remember who owned the shop beforehand? Also, next door to Carlow’s is the Co-operative Supermarket.

As is quite often the case we do not have a date for this. Looking though at the length of the ladies dresses I should imagine we are possibly looking at the 1960s-1970s, unless of course some of our lady visitors to our site know better!

Most of us like a bit of  ‘rousing military music’, it brings out a bit of patriotism in us all! It’s not often though that you see The Band of the Royal Marines marching down the old Bletchley Road, however they did come to Bletchley for the Royal Naval Association parade. Unfortunately, we do not have a date for this event so if somebody could help us out that would be great!
